ATOPIVET is a food supplement for dogs that helps to maintain the integrity of their epidermal barrier. Itisparticularly indicated during or after episodes of conditions that reduce the skin´s integrity.

Atopic dermatitis can affect the total amount of alter the relative concentration of lipids in the epidermis. This dehydrates the skin and allows more cutaneous allergens to enter.

Eicosapentaeoic acid (EPA) helps to reduce the itchiness and inflammation.

Nucleoforce is a range of different groups of nucleotides formulated especially for dogs. Nucleotides help to restore the animal´s inmune response, therby improving the skin repair process.

In healthy skin, keratinocytes in the epidermis secrete ceramides into the intercellular space. This preserves cellular cohesion and an effective cutaneous barrier.

Gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) helps to recover the cutaneous barrier and rehydrates the skin.

Dermial hyaluronic acid causes a significant increase in the proliferation and migration of dermal fibroblast. Fibroblast s are related to the skin's regenerative capacity. Dermial also boosts the skin´s hydration capacity due to an increase in hyaluronic acid and elastin production.

Zinc plays a crucial role in regulating several aspects of cell metabolism, many of which are connected to maintaining a healthy skin and coat.

Administering vitamin E is considered beneficial as dogs with atopic dermatitis are observed to have significantly lower vitamin E plasma concentrations than healthy dogs.

Composition:

Each capsule contains:

• Omega-3 fatty acids: 572 mg (400.4 EPA).
• Nucleotides (Nucleoforce): 300 mg.
• Hyaluronic acid (Dermial): 10 mg.
• Zinc oxide: 13.88 mg (10 mg zinc).
• Natural tocopherols (E-304, E-306, E310).

Dosage and method of administration:

ATOPIVET should be administered orally for a minimum of 4-8 weeks based on the veterinarian´s criteria, according to these dosage guidelines.

• < 10 kg: 1 capsule per day
• 10-20 kg: 2 capsules per day
• 20-30 kg: 3 capsules per day
• >30 kg: 4 capsules per day.
