The clorhexidina is a compound of structure biguanida with antiseptic activities. His action is of bactericidal character and bacteriostática. It possesses a wide antibacterial spectrum, being active opposite to germs Gram (+) and Gram (-), such as Serratia marcescens, Streptococcus uberis, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Some Gram (-) are relatively resistant. It does not possess action esporicida. The clorhexidina does not present absorption for hackneyed route. Adoeqmina is colorless, for what it supports the own color of the organic fabrics, without dying them, and therefore it does not alter the aspect of the wound in no moment of the process of cicatrization.
